Job Description
Our client, a top US law firm, is seeking to recruit a junior to mid-level Associate (NQ-4PQE) for its London Banking & Finance Practice, on a fixed-term contract basis (expected duration: 12 months).
The role will involve supporting a Partner in the continued growth and development of the practice in London, with exposure to a broad range of complex debt products, including:
- Venture debt, private credit & special situations
- Leveraged and acquisition finance
- Direct lending, corporate lending, and refinancings
- Cross-border transactions for credit funds, hedge funds, banks, sponsors, direct lenders, and other alternative capital providers.
Ideal candidate:
- Strong academics (2.1 degree minimum) and trained at a leading UK or US/international law firm
- Solid experience in complex finance matters
- Available at short notice (or immediately)
