Job Description

We are currently seeking a Banking & Finance Solicitor to join our Legal 500 law firm client's Leeds-based team. The ideal candidate will possess between 0 and 2 years PQE within a reputable banking practice, gained either in a medium or large regional, national, or international firm. This role offers a unique opportunity for a Solicitor looking to develop within a smaller but expanding team, with clear pathways for career progression. The successful candidate will be involved in a broad range of finance transactions, including corporate and leveraged financings, asset-based lending, real estate, and development finance. Additionally, the role involves supporting the Corporate team with financial aspects of M&A and other corporate transactions.

  • Qualified Solicitor from NQ to 2 years PQE, with experience in Banking & Finance
  • Experience working within a medium or large regional, national or international firm is preferred
  • Strong understanding of finance transactions, including corporate finance, leveraged finance, and asset-based lending and a commitment to progressing your legal career in this practice area.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A proactive approach with a desire to progress within a growing team
