You will work closely with teams across:

You'll report to the Senior Director of Operations (Payroll Services) and collaborate with senior leaders across the business.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Taking ownership of how payroll payments operate end-to-end across IRIS
  • Working with Product and Operations leaders to shape and improve our payment offering
  • Reviewing and refining processes so they are accurate, efficient, and fully compliant
  • Developing and tracking key KPIs to improve service quality
  • Managing relationships with our payment partners: Telleroo, Bottomline, and Finestra
  • Ensuring we meet all KYC, AML, and regulatory requirements
  • Leading our Pay.UK BACS re-accreditation process
  • Standardising and improving payment processes across all IRIS payroll services
  • Working with commercial, operational, and product teams to understand priorities and future needs
  • Helping customers and colleagues adopt new payment features and improvements
  • Monitoring the market to identify enhancements that keep IRIS competitive
  • Supporting internal teams by resolving payment-related escalations quickly and effectively
  • Communicating product and service updates clearly to customers and prospects
What We're Looking For
You'll be successful here if you bring:
  • Significant experience managing payment operations, ideally in payroll payments
OR
  • Significant experience in payroll software support or payroll service delivery
  • Experience with electronic payment processes within payroll, HR, finance, or banking
  • Good understanding of payment compliance and regulatory requirements
  • A calm, organised, and proactive approach to improving service quality
  • Confidence working with internal teams and external partners
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information
  • A mindset focused on efficiency, accuracy, and customer value
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
  • A strong focus on doing what is right for customers and colleagues
