We're looking for a Banking Operations Team Leader to join our UK & I Finance team in Bath. In this pivotal role, you'll support the Banking Operations Manager in driving operational excellence across our banking functions and play a key part in shaping the future of our Finance Operations structure.

What you'll be doing:



Leading, mentoring, and motivating a high-performing team Overseeing daily banking operations including reconciliations, payment processing, and expense claims Ensuring timely and accurate cash posting and reporting Supporting training and professional development within the team Driving continuous improvement and implementing best practices Managing balance sheet reconciliations and government compliance reporting Working with stakeholders across the business to support finance operations

Salary-

up to 35,000 per annum depending on experience.

Annual leave-

24 days, rising to 26 with length of service. Of course, you'll have public holidays too and we'll even help you celebrate with an extra day off for your birthday!

About you



Proven experience in Finance Operations Previous experience in a team leader or supervisory role Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage, motivate and develop a team Excellent attention to detail and time management Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a readiness to learn new systems An AAT qualification would be advantageous Above all, you're a team player with a proactive mindset and a passion for continuous improvement
