Banking Associate / Senior Associate
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a Banking Associate or Senior Associate to join a well-regarded team in Birmingham. The role offers broad exposure across general banking, acquisition finance, leveraged finance, project finance, and asset-based lending. You will advise a wide range of UK and international clients, including major banks, alternative lenders, and corporate borrowers, and be involved in complex, high-value transactions, particularly in private equity and structured finance.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will be a qualified solicitor with 4-9 years PQE and strong technical and negotiation experience. You will have solid drafting skills, including experience with facility agreements, LMA-style documents, and credit agreements. Strong communication skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to engage confidently with clients and stakeholders are essential. You will also be proactive, detail-focused, and an effective team player.
