Job Description
We are seeking a Banking Solicitor with 2-6 years PQE to join a dynamic Finance team based in Glasgow or Edinburgh. This role offers exposure to high-profile banking, corporate and real estate finance transactions, with opportunities to work alongside leading lenders and investors on complex deals.
- Advise clients on a variety of banking and finance matters, including lending, security, and restructuring.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a range of legal documents and agreements.
- Provide comprehensive legal support to clients in relation to regulatory compliance.
- Assist with due diligence processes during transactions.
- Collaborate with other departments to deliver seamless legal services.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of banking and finance regulations.
- Support the development of client relationships through excellent service delivery.
- Contribute to team meetings and provide insights into current legal developments.
A successful Banking Solicitor should have:
- A solicitor or equivalent with 2-6 years PQE in banking, corporate, real estate or project finance
- Experienced in commercial banking transactions, with strong technical and commercial awareness
- A proactive team player with excellent communication and project management skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment with a drive for career progression
