About the Role:

We are looking for a friendly and passionate Banqueting Chef to support our kitchen team in preparing and delivering high-quality food for weddings, conferences, and a variety of other events. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, requiring a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a genuine enthusiasm for creating memorable experiences through great food.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Banqueting Chef, you will play a key role in supporting kitchen operations across a wide range of events. Your duties will include:

Preparing and presenting food to a high standard Supporting with prep and service across all sections Assisting in the smooth execution of weddings, conferences, and private functions Following kitchen procedures and maintaining cleanliness Supporting junior team members and working closely with senior chefs Being aware of upcoming events to plan ahead effectively

About You:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated chef with experience in professional kitchens, ideally within banqueting or large-scale catering. You will work alongside our Head Chef and Sous Chef, contributing to the smooth running of the kitchen and ensuring every dish meets our high standards.

You should also bring:

Strong food preparation and cooking skills Good communication and teamwork A positive attitude and willingness to learn Attention to detail and pride in presentation Ability to work efficiently under pressure Understanding of food hygiene and safety practices
