Responsibilities

Prepare and serve beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, taking orders and offering recommendations to enhance their experience. Upsell menu items and promotions to maximise sales opportunities. Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service delivery. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations between the bar and kitchen areas. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of food and beverages.

Requirements

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and basic culinary skills are advantageous. Strong time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Experience in serving or kitchen roles is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidates.
