We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar & Restaurant Manager to oversee our operations in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service management, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of quality. As a Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, inventory control, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations while creating an inviting atmosphere for our guests.
Duties
Supervise daily bar operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to company standards.
Train, develop, and manage bar & restaurant staff, fostering a positive team environment.
Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and controlling stock levels to minimize waste.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
Handle cash management and POS systems efficiently.
Help create innovative drink menus and ensure quality control of all beverages served. A background in some cocktails would be advantageous.
Collaborate with kitchen management to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process for new staff members.
Qualifications
Proven experience in restaurant or bar management, preferably in very high volume dining settings.
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling practices.
Familiarity with inventory control processes and cash handling procedures.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and develop team members effectively.
Experience in shift management and supervising staff in a fast-paced environment.
Background in hospitality management & culinary experience is highly desirable.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
