We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant and Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bustling bar. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and extensive knowledge of food and beverage service. Duties
Oversee daily bar and kitchen operations, ensuring efficient service delivery and high standards of customer satisfaction.
Supervise and manage bar staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
Coordinate food preparation and beverage service, including cocktail mixing, garnishing, and presentation.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the premises.
Manage stock levels, order supplies, and oversee inventory control to minimise wastage.
Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally to ensure positive resolutions.
Collaborate with kitchen staff on food production processes where applicable, ensuring seamless service flow.
Monitor cash handling procedures and maintain accurate financial records.
Experience
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment, ideally in a bar setting.
knowledge of drinks and food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary practices.
Experience in restaurant or hotel environments with a focus on hospitality excellence.
Familiarity with food safety standards and food production processes.
Previous experience serving customers in a fast-paced setting such as bars or restaurants.
Leadership skills demonstrated through team management roles; experience supervising staff is highly desirable.
Additional experience with barista work or kitchen experience is considered advantageous but not essential. This position is ideal for a motivated professional eager to lead a team within a vibrant hospitality environment while delivering outstanding service standards.
