We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee our bar operations within a vibrant restaurant environment. As the Bar Manager, you will be responsible for supervising bar staff, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, and maintaining high standards of quality in both drinks and service.

Duties

Supervise and manage the bar team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations. Oversee the preparation and presentation of beverages, ensuring consistency and quality in line with our culinary standards. Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and health standards within the bar area. Collaborate with kitchen staff to create innovative drink menus that complement our food offerings. Train new bartenders on drink preparation techniques, customer service skills, and health regulations. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed while minimising waste. Develop and implement promotional strategies to enhance bar sales and customer engagement. Handle customer feedback professionally, resolving any issues to ensure satisfaction.

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a bar or restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of bartending techniques and beverage preparation. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is essential. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively. Previous experience in a hotel or culinary environment is advantageous. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
