- Bar & Restaurant Team Member

The Cornhill Inn & The Broomhill Inn, Bonnybridge

With the festive period approaching, we are looking for a friendly, reliable, and flexible individual to join our team. This role will involve working across both The Cornhill Inn (bar & restaurant) and our sister pub, The Broomhill Inn (bar work), supporting wherever needed. You will primarily work Thursday-Sunday, with the possibility of additional weekday shifts depending on business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide excellent customer service in both bar and restaurant settings Take and serve food and drink orders accurately and efficiently Assist in setting up, cleaning, and maintaining bar and restaurant areas Handle cash and card transactions responsibly Support team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations Adapt to different roles and tasks as required, depending on where you are placed On occasion, check in guests staying in our 7 guest rooms and show them to their rooms

between 12pm and 1am

as required Previous experience in a restaurant or bartending role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Strong communication and people skills with a customer-first approach Flexibility to work across both venues as required Availability to work Thursday-Sunday, with openness to weekday shifts if offered A positive attitude, team spirit, and willingness to learn A strong understanding of hospitality principles and customer service excellence is highly valued. Familiarity with food safety standards. Time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 27 per week
