Overview


We are seeking an experienced

Bar and floor supervisor

to work with our floor manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, food and beverage service, and team leadership. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a vibrant team, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards of food safety and quality. The successful applicant will have a passion for the hospitality industry, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.

Responsibilities



Supervise and coordinate all bar operations, ensuring smooth service during shifts. Open up and close down of the restauarant. Opening and closing down, cahsing up. Line cleans. Manage staff schedules, delegate tasks, and oversee team performance to maintain high standards of service. Assist in the preparation of beverages, including cocktails and specialised drinks, maintaining quality standards. Monitor stock levels, place orders for supplies, and manage inventory to minimise waste. Ensure compliance with licensing laws and health & safety regulations across all aspects of bar management. Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to guarantee customer satisfaction. Train new staff members on service procedures, safety protocols, and product knowledge. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food production when necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the bar area at all times.

Skills



Proven experience in supervising or managing within a hospitality environment, ideally in bars or restaurants. Experience in serving customers with professionalism and courtesy. Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure. Familiarity with food production processes within a restaurant or hotel setting. Knowledge of hospitality industry standards including health & safety regulations. Barista experience is advantageous for managing specialised coffee offerings. Hospitality management and delivering outstanding customer experiences while leading a dedicated team in a vibrant setting.

Pay: Up to 31,500.00 per year
