We are seeking an experienced and dynamic

Bar and restaurant Supervisor

to oversee the daily operations of our busy bar environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and extensive knowledge of food and beverage service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring excellent customer experiences, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. The successful applicant will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring operational efficiency and profitability.

Duties



Supervise and coordinate the activities of bar staff, including serving, food preparation, and drink service. Oversee the organisation of food production, ensuring quality standards are met consistently. Manage stock levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage in accordance with food safety regulations. Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service and hospitality to guests. Monitor the cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including kitchen and serving stations. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards. Develop staff schedules, provide training on food preparation, cooking techniques, and responsible service of alcohol. Handle customer complaints or issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate terms and ensure timely delivery of products. Assist in marketing initiatives to promote the bar's offerings and special events.

Requirements



Proven experience in supervising or managing within a restaurant or hospitality environment, ideally with restaurant or hotel experience. Strong background in food preparation, cooking, culinary arts, and food production processes. Previous experience in serving or bartending roles such as barista experience is advantageous. Demonstrated leadership skills with team management experience; ability to motivate staff effectively. Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations relevant to hospitality settings. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure. Exceptional communication skills with a friendly yet professional demeanour. Experience in supervising food service operations including kitchen experience is desirable. A personable attitude with a focus on delivering outstanding guest experiences. Pay: 24,420.00-29,947.44 per year
