Job Summary

The Red Lion Hotel are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar and Restaurant Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidates will possess a passion for providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for serving drinks, preparing food, and ensuring that all health and safety standards are maintained.

We're specifically looking for full-time morning staff to work approx. 6.30am-2.30pm, with potential for other shifts, looking after breakfast and lunch service. Secondly we're looking for casual F&B staff for evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards. Provide exceptional service to customers, taking orders accurately and efficiently. Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service delivery.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary practices is advantageous. Knowledge of food safety standards is essential to maintain a safe working environment. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers and team members alike.
