Duties

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere. Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all customer requests are met. Assist with food preparation and presentation, adhering to food safety standards. Serve food and beverages promptly, maintaining high standards of service throughout. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and timely service. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for guest satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service stations. Support bartending duties when required, including mixing drinks and serving customers at the bar. Assist with catering events as needed, ensuring all aspects run smoothly.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is advantageous. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in bartending or catering is a plus but not essential; we are willing to train the right candidates. A positive attitude and willingness to help others are crucial for success in this role.
