Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing outstanding hospitality, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and well taken care of. Your ability to upsell menu items and provide excellent guest services will contribute significantly to the overall success of our restaurant.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere. Take accurate food and drink orders, using basic maths skills to ensure correct billing. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while adhering to food safety standards. Assist with food preparation when necessary, demonstrating culinary skills as required. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables and service stations. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, providing help as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service delivery. Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure all guests receive prompt attention.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred. Strong understanding of food safety practices and culinary basics. Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively. Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional guest services with a friendly demeanour. Basic maths skills for accurate order taking and billing processes. A passion for the hospitality industry and commitment to enhancing guest experiences. Ability to work well within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
