Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our team in delivering exceptional experiences to our guests. As a Server, you will play a vital role in ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and well-cared for during their visit.

Duties

Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take orders and provide recommendations to enhance the experience. Ensure accurate order taking and relay orders to the kitchen staff efficiently. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Assist with food preparation as needed, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving for resolution and satisfaction. Upsell menu items to maximise guest experience and revenue. Maintain an organised work area, including cleaning tables and resetting them for new guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control of dishes served. Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.

Requirements

Previous experience in a hospitality setting is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with upselling techniques is beneficial but not essential. A team player with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively. Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 20 per week
