We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing attentive service, ensuring food safety, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Your ability to manage time effectively and upsell menu items will contribute significantly to our guests' satisfaction and overall dining experience.

Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Take accurate food and drink orders while providing recommendations based on guest preferences. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring presentation meets our restaurant standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables and service stations. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety regulations at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders. Process payments accurately and efficiently while handling cash or card transactions. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. Strong understanding of food safety practices and hygiene standards. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Basic maths skills for processing bills and handling payments accurately. Exceptional guest services skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant's schedule.
