We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will play a vital role in ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and well taken care of while enjoying their meals.

Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere. Take accurate food and drink orders, relaying them efficiently to the kitchen staff. Provide recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials and beverages to enhance the dining experience. Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner, ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards. Assist with food preparation as needed, maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints with professionalism and courtesy. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils. Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the restaurant environment.

Skills

Strong background in hospitality with excellent guest service skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant setting while managing time efficiently. Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous. Proficient in upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour that promotes positive interactions with guests and team members. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure. Previous experience in a similar role within the restaurant industry is preferred but not essential.
