Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently. Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods. Ensure food safety standards are adhered to during food preparation and service. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and maximise sales. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring all orders are correct. Manage time effectively to handle multiple tables and requests simultaneously. Assist with the preparation of food as needed, adhering to kitchen safety protocols. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Strong understanding of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous. Basic math skills for handling payments and processing transactions. Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Exceptional guest service skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences for patrons. Experience in upselling menu items is a plus, contributing to overall sales performance. Pay: 12.21-14.72 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 35 per week
