Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude. Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all requests are noted. Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently, adhering to food safety standards. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance the guest experience. Maintain knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of meals. Manage time effectively to ensure all tables receive prompt attention throughout their dining experience.

Requirements

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a strong background in hospitality. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Strong guest service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for diners. Experience in upselling menu items is advantageous. Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus but not mandatory.
