Job Summary

We are seeking a welcoming and professional front of house assistant close knit team. Our focus is on excellent customer service and providing our guests with something different. Our bar serves all English draught products and hearty pub food. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and assisting with food preparation in a fast-paced environment. Your hospitality skills will help create memorable moments for our guests.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, ensuring a positive first impression. Take accurate food and drink orders using basic maths skills for processing. Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food safety standards. With excellent attention to detail and cleanliness relay tables Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods. Address guest inquiries and provide assistance to ensure satisfaction throughout their visit. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of orders.

Requirements

Previous experience bar and waiting experience is required. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Personable and welcoming manner with professional standards Excellent communication skills with a friendly disposition towards guests and team members. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Pay: From 12.40 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 25 per week
