As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and assisting with food preparation as needed.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently. Serve food and beverages to guests, ensuring presentation meets our standards. Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and service stations. Assist with food preparation as required, adhering to food safety standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of meals. Handle cash and process payments accurately using basic math skills.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, particularly in a serving role. Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing orders effectively. Excellent time management abilities to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Experience in kitchen operations or food preparation is a plus. A friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively. Pay: 12.21-19.01 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
