You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and providing a welcoming atmosphere that reflects our commitment to hospitality.

Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant's ordering system. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards. Assist with food preparation when necessary, adhering to food safety regulations. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of dishes. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and service.

Skills

Strong knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen operations. Excellent guest services skills with a focus on hospitality. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest satisfaction. Time management skills to prioritise tasks during busy periods. Experience in a restaurant or culinary environment is preferred but not essential. A positive attitude with strong communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.

Pay: 10.00-14.00 per hour
