Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a Bar Staff member, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of beverages. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensuring that their experience is enjoyable and memorable.

Applicants must be 18 years old or above due to working alone unsupervised on the bar.

Own transport required due to rural location.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is well-stocked and in good condition. Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Handle cash transactions efficiently and responsibly, ensuring accurate till management. Monitor customer behaviour to ensure responsible service of alcohol. Assist in the training of new staff members as required. Adhere to health and safety regulations, including food hygiene standards.

Skills

Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Strong multitasking abilities, able to manage several tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a bar or hospitality setting is advantageous but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. Knowledge of various drink recipes and cocktail preparation is beneficial. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Strong attention to detail, particularly regarding cleanliness and presentation standards.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
