We are now seeking Food & Beverage Assistants to join our growing team.

Overview

As a valued member of the Regency House Bar Team, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional beverage experience that reflects the sophistication and high standards of a five-star luxury property. You will serve guests with professionalism, knowledge, and genuine warmth, ensuring every interaction contributes to the refined atmosphere for which Regency House is renowned.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Main duties will include, but are not limited to:

Welcoming all guests to the bar in a friendly, polite, and professional manner, upholding Regency House's five-star service ethos. Gaining full and comprehensive knowledge of all beverage and wine menus (following training) to confidently assist with guest queries and recommendations. Mixing and serving all hot and cold beverages, including cocktails, wines, spirits, and coffees, ensuring accuracy, presentation, and timely service. Operating the bar till system efficiently to process guest orders and payments in line with company procedures. Maintaining a clean, organised, and fully stocked bar area throughout each shift. Carrying out daily operational duties as assigned by the Food and Beverage Manager, including restocking, and ensuring beverage stores are properly maintained. Ensuring personal appearance, grooming, and uniform consistently meet Regency House's presentation standards. Observing all Company and statutory Fire, Health, Safety, and Hygiene regulations at all times. Participating in ongoing training sessions to enhance product knowledge and service skills, including cocktail, wine, and barista training. Contributing to a collaborative and supportive team environment, maintaining professionalism and discretion at all times.

The Person

The ideal candidate will:

Be enthusiastic and knowledgeable about bartending and beverage service. Have previous experience working behind a bar, ideally within a luxury or high-end hospitality environment. Be an excellent team player with a positive, proactive, and friendly attitude. Demonstrate flexibility with working hours, including daytimes, evenings, weekends, and holiday periods. Possess strong communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively. Take pride in delivering high standards of presentation and embodying the Regency House brand values.

Desirable Skills and Experience

Previous cocktail-making experience. Barista experience or coffee training. Knowledge of premium wines, spirits, and mixology. Experience in five-star hotels, resorts, or luxury private clubs.
