Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive

Barback

to support our busy bar environment. The ideal candidate will assist bartenders by maintaining stock levels, ensuring cleanliness, and providing excellent service to enhance the overall guest experience. This role offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience within the hospitality industry, particularly in food preparation and customer service settings. Responsibilities

Restock bar supplies, including beverages, garnishes, and glassware, ensuring the bar is fully prepared for service Assist bartenders with food preparation tasks as needed, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping surfaces, washing glassware, and disposing of waste appropriately Support with setting up and breaking down the bar before and after service shifts Monitor stock levels throughout the shift and communicate replenishment needs to management Provide prompt and friendly assistance to guests when required, supporting a welcoming atmosphere Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or food service environments is desirable, including restaurant or hotel experience Knowledge of food preparation and bar operations is advantageous Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a lively environment A proactive attitude with a keen eye for organisation and cleanliness Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, or holidays as required Personal presentation that reflects professionalism and friendliness
