We are looking for an experienced supervisor to oversee bar & catering and will be pivotal in helping develop further. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional with a passion for service excellence, strong leadership and business developement.
In this hands on roll you will coordinate a wide range of hospitality functions, ensure the highest quality standards and implement efficient operational processes. Success in this position requires exceptional communication, outstanding organisational abilities and a proactive approach to both team collaboration and customer service.
While this is primarily a supervisor roll, the candidate should also be willing to carry out light bar and catering duties as needed to support the team and ensure smooth operations.
Oversee all aspects of bar & catering operations.
Manage and motivate a small team of bar & catering staff.
Drive business growth to increase turnover and profitability
Conduct regular stock takes and monitor gross profit margins.
Oversee procurement and cost-effective ordering of food and beverages.
Regular review and adjust bar pricing.
Plan and execute club events, private functions and external bookings.
Coordinate closely with the Sailing and Management teams to ensure smooth and effective delivery of Club events and activities.
Ensure hospitality services align with the Club's operational needs and sailing calender.
Work with the club administrator to ensure the website is updated with hospitality news, events and information.
Help to promote Club events, facilities and partnerships through social media.
Bar & catering support as and when required.
Proven experience in bar and catering.
Strong communication & leadership skills.
