Duties
Supervise and coordinate all bar operations, ensuring smooth service during shifts
Lead, motivate, and manage the bar team to deliver excellent customer service
Oversee food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards
Manage stock levels, order supplies, and maintain inventory control
Develop innovative drink menus in line with current trends and customer preferences
Ensure compliance with licensing laws and health & safety regulations
Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly
Train staff in serving techniques, food safety procedures, and hospitality standards
Organise staff schedules to optimise coverage during peak hours
Collaborate with kitchen staff on food production and presentation standards
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with health regulations
Qualifications
Proven experience in restaurant or hotel environments, particularly within bars or similar establishments
Supervising experience with a track record of effective team management
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and culinary techniques
Familiarity with food safety standards and food production processes
Experience in hospitality, serving, or barista roles preferred
Leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of current trends in beverages and mixology is advantageous
Relevant qualifications in hospitality management or food safety are desirable
