Overview

Tetbury United Services Club are now looking for a person/couple to take over the day-to-day bar management of the members-owned club in Tetbury. In this role you will be reporting to the Committee who are working hard to extend the club's offerings to its members and guests.

The job role can include accommodation if required as part of the renumeration package.

The Ideal Candidate will have the following experience:

Managing a robust staff rota, taking into account and considering planned events and live music nights.

Bar Staff management and recruitment processes.

Day to day running of the bar and management of the cellar.

Working with stock control routines, and ordering processes with both the brewery and other suppliers.

Experience with event planning.

Planned and organized approach to managing the day-to-day routines of a busy wet led bar.

Experience in managing health and hygiene processes.

Management of a licensed premises.

Knowledge of licensed premises regulations,(e.g Fire, Security and licensing laws).

Maintaining the standards and procedures set by the committee.

Qualifications & Experience

High Levels of drive and motivation.

Excellent customer service skills.

Excellent communication / People skills.

Good IT Skills.

Calm Under Pressure.

Ability to react to changing demands and keep on top of a fast paced environment.

Bar management - Minimum 1 year.

Supervising experience - Minimum 1 year.

Hospitality experience - Minimum 2 years

Customer service - Minimum 2 years.

Management - Minimum 1 year.

Personal License - Preferred.

Cellar Management - Preferred.

Hours of Work.

5.5 days out of 7.

Must be available to work weekends and bank holidays.

Please be advised that we do also open over the Christmas period, including Christmas day for a limited time.

Salary and package.

Competitive Salary package available dependent on Experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 22,000.00-30,000.00 per year
