Salary: 32,000 per year + open opportunity to earn additional income linked to increased clubhouse turnover

About Brockenhurst Football Club
Brockenhurst FC is a long-established and much-loved community football club at the heart of the New Forest. Following a period of strong financial growth and new investment, the Club is now entering an exciting phase of development -- including upgraded facilities, new toilets, and a proposed kitchen installation to enhance matchday and event catering.
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Clubhouse & Operations Manager to oversee all clubhouse operations, lead and develop our staff team, and help maximise the potential of these improved facilities to generate sustainable income for the Club.

The Role
Reporting to the Club Chairman and Committee, you'll take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the clubhouse, bar, and associated facilities -- ensuring smooth operations, high standards, and strong financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee bar operations including staff, tills, stock, cellar management, and cash control.
Recruit, train, and develop clubhouse staff to maintain a motivated and capable team.
Manage clubhouse facilities (including The Sett, changing rooms, and spectator areas) to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
Coordinate matchday operations, including catering for players, officials, and supporters.
Support delivery of club events such as Brockstock and Fireworks Night.
Work collaboratively with the Committee and volunteers on club maintenance and improvements.
Take an active role in developing new income streams and increasing clubhouse usage.

About You
You'll be a hands-on, organised, and personable hospitality professional with strong management skills and commercial awareness. You take pride in delivering excellent service and enjoy working in a vibrant community setting.
Essential:
Proven bar, pub, or venue management experience
Strong leadership and people management ability
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Sound financial understanding and experience managing budgets
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and matchdays
Desirable:
Basic maintenance / DIY skills
Experience in a sports or community club environment
Personal Licence holder (or willingness to obtain)

32,000 base salary
