We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and a passion for providing exceptional service. As Bar Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons. Your leadership skills will be essential in fostering a motivated team that delivers an outstanding experience to our guests.

Duties

Supervise and manage bar staff, ensuring efficient service and adherence to company policies. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high standards of quality and safety. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the bar area. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and controlling stock levels to minimise waste. Develop and implement training programmes for staff on hospitality best practices and customer service. Create innovative drink menus and collaborate with the kitchen team on food pairings. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to enhance guest satisfaction. Monitor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement within the bar operations.

Skills

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or bar environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Excellent culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food production. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations. Background in hospitality with exceptional customer service skills. Experience in managing inventory and understanding cost control measures. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience as a barista is advantageous but not essential.
