to oversee the daily operations of our bar in a warehouse nightclub in Tottenham on Friday and Saturday nights. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of beverage service, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. The role will be likely be divided into two days on shift (Friday and Saturday from approx 7/8pm til 4/5am) and one day of admin work - stock take, ordering goods, training staff, implementing new procedures, reporting to business owners, etc.
Duties
Supervise and coordinate all bar activities, ensuring smooth operation during shifts
Manage staff schedules, delegate tasks, and oversee team performance to maintain high service standards
Oversee beverage preparation, ensuring quality and presentation meet company standards
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies
Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory to minimise waste and maximise efficiency
Train new staff members in service procedures, health & safety protocols, and product knowledge
Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and tact
Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming environment for both staff and patrons
Skills
Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management, preferably within a bar setting
Strong supervisory experience with team management capabilities
Excellent leadership qualities combined with exceptional organisational skills
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Experience in serving customers with professionalism and courtesy
Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and engage customers effectively
