Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender 21 and over and food server to suit 16 to 17 year old to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of food safety practices. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating an inviting atmosphere for our guests, serving beverages, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Your ability to manage time effectively and maintain a clean workspace will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and responding to their needs Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible serving practices Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills for processing payments Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable Manage inventory levels, restocking supplies as needed, and reporting any shortages or issues Assist in training new staff members on bar procedures and customer service standards

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred Strong knowledge of hospitality principles and food safety regulations Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude Familiarity with serving techniques and cocktail preparation is advantageous A passion for providing outstanding customer experiences is essential

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour
