Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in creating an enjoyable atmosphere for our guests by providing exceptional service and expertly crafted beverages. You will be responsible for managing the bar area, ensuring cleanliness, and maintaining a well-stocked inventory while adhering to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer requests. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Monitor stock levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure the bar is well-stocked. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations based on their preferences. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, particularly food safety standards. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring all sales are recorded correctly. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours while maintaining quality.

Skills

Proficient in bartending techniques with a strong understanding of drink recipes and preparation methods. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong hospitality skills with a focus on providing an exceptional guest experience. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs effectively. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required. Barista experience
