Hours and days of work are dependent on the Conference and Banqueting Event Calendar.
JOB LOCATION:
Galgorm, Ballymena. You will be working across all of our Wedding and Events Suites.
SALARY: 12.52-14.02 per hour
About the role:
Galgorm is renowned for its beautiful setting, which lends itself quite magically to becoming a dream wedding location. As well as hosting weddings, our 3 magnificent suites cater to a variety of different events. Working as a Bar-Person, you need to ensure our guests receive the best quality of service whatever the occasion.
You will work behind and maintain our function bars, prepare arrival drinks and assist with table service throughout the day. Are you passionate about bartending and interested in working in events? If so, please get in touch!

Main duties will include but are not limited to:
Welcoming all guests attending our Suites in a friendly, polite, professional manner.
Serving wine and other beverages on a variety of occasions from weddings to private parties, formals to corporate meetings.
Mixing and serving up all hot and cold beverages in the function dispense bar during service ensuring all beverages are delivered on time.
With training, have full and complete knowledge of all beverage and wine menus enabling you to assist with any guest queries.
Following the daily order of events as directed by the Conference & Banqueting Manager.
Using the bar till systems to place orders and process customer payments correctly.
Changing kegs and maintaining drink stores.
Ensuring all areas of the bar are clean, tidy, and fully stocked throughout your shift.
Carrying out daily duties as allocated by the Conference & Banqueting Manager including changing kegs and maintaining drink stores.
Directing any guest complaints to the manager.
Making sure your personal appearance and uniform are in line with the required Resort standards at all times.
Observe all Company and Statutory Fire, Health, Safety, and Hygiene Regulations.
Attend any training that has been set up to aid your personal development including cocktail, wine, and coffee training.
The Person:
Applicant must:
Be enthusiastic and knowledgeable about bartending.
Have previous experience working behind a bar.
Be an excellent team player with a positive and friendly attitude.
Have a flexible approach to working shift patterns and be available to work daytimes, evenings, and weekends.
Have strong communication skills and be able to multitask.
Have a sense of pride in the delivery of high standards of presentation and the Galgorm Collection brand.
