Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, engaging with Customers, and maintaining the bar area to high standards. Previous experience in a bar environment is preferred. The successful applicant will be an organised individual with excellent time management skills, capable of working efficiently during busy periods.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences Greet guests warmly and take drink orders accurately, ensuring prompt service Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to responsible serving policies Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the POS system effectively Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts Engage with customers to enhance their experience, creating a lively yet professional environment Follow all safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times Light Cleaning of customer seating area and other public area.

Skills

Proven experience in ahospitality role, particularly as a bartender setting Strong knowledge of responsible alcohol service Excellent serving skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers Basic maths skills for handling payments and managing tabs accurately Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks during busy periods Good organisational skills to keep the bar area tidy and stocked efficiently Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and friendliness Personal qualities such as reliability, adaptability, and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
