Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidates will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. As a member of our bar team, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while serving drinks and assisting with food preparation.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the bar area. Engage with guests, providing excellent customer service and upselling menu items to enhance their experience. Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring high standards of culinary presentation. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Collaborate with fellow team members to maintain a smooth operation within the bar and restaurant environment. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments.

Experience

Previous experience in a bar or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidates. A good understanding of food safety practices is beneficial. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure are essential for success in this role. Familiarity with culinary techniques and food preparation is advantageous. A proactive approach to guest services, demonstrating a willingness to help others and create memorable experiences.
