Job Overview

We are seeking mature-minded, enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our friendly team as Bar & Waiting Staff. This role involves providing excellent service in a lively and welcoming environment, ensuring guests have a positive & memorable experience. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, be able to work efficiently under pressure, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety. Previous restaurant or bar experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Duties

Serve drinks and food to customers in a courteous and timely manner Prepare beverages, including soft drinks, and non-alcoholic options Assist with food preparation and presentation where necessary Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities Manage cash register operations and handle transactions accurately Monitor stock levels and assist with stock replenishment as needed Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and addressing their needs promptly Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant, bar, or hospitality setting is desirable but not essential Knowledge of basic food safety standards and hygiene practices Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients Experience in food preparation or kitchen work is an advantage Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and sales Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour Ability to work well within a team and independently when required

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From 12.30 per hour
