Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve not only serving drinks but also assisting with food preparation and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness in the bar area.

Responsibilities

Serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, to guests in a friendly and efficient manner. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Engage with customers to provide excellent guest services, including upselling menu items to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations within the restaurant environment. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for guest satisfaction at all times.

Experience

Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest services and satisfaction. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A passion for the culinary arts and an eagerness to learn more about food preparation techniques would be beneficial.
