About the role:




Working as a Bar-Person, you will need to ensure our guests receive the best quality of service whatever the occasion. Personality is key for this role. We are seeking passionate bartenders to join our fantastic team. You will look after all things "beverage", and provide top-notch service to our wonderful locals and visiting hotel guests.

About The Role



Main duties will include but are not limited to:



Welcoming all guests to the bar in a friendly, polite manner. With training, have full and complete knowledge of all beverage and wine menus enabling you to assist with any guest queries. Mixing and serving up all hot and cold beverages in the restaurant dispense bar during service ensuring all beverages are delivered on time. Using the bar till systems to place orders and process customer payments correctly. Ensuring all areas of the bar are clean, tidy, and fully stocked throughout your shift. Carrying out daily duties as allocated by the Bar Manager including changing kegs and maintaining drink stores. Making sure your personal appearance and uniform are in line with the required Resort standards at all times. Observe all Company and Statutory Fire, Health, Safety, and Hygiene Regulations. Attend any training that has been set up to aid your personal development including cocktail, wine, and coffee training.

The Person:



Applicant must:



Be enthusiastic and knowledgeable about bartending.

Have at least 1-year of previous experience working behind a bar.

Be an excellent team player with a positive and friendly attitude. Have a flexible approach to working shift patterns and be available to work daytimes, evenings, and weekends. Have strong communication skills and be able to multitask. Have a sense of pride in the delivery of high standards of presentation and the Galgorm Collection brand.

Desired Criteria



Experience in a public facing position, preferable food & beverage ie pubs, restaurants Knowledge of wines and spirits Food Handlers Certificate First Aid Certificate Has positive sales attitude Displays commitment to completion of tasks, requires little motivation
