Bar Staff Team Member / Bartender who has excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to professionally meet and greet customers in a polite and friendly manner is required for the Food and Beverage department of a well-established and prestigious private members club based in South West London.

SALARY: \xc2\xa325,440 per annum + Benefits (see below)

LOCATION: South West London

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: 40 hours per week, to include day, evening, and weekend shifts

Working as a Bar Staff Team Member / Bartender you will be required to welcome customers in a positive, polite, and professional manner, aiming to provide complete customer satisfaction.

As a Bar Staff / Bartender you will preferably have previous industry experience with exceptional customer service skills with a \xe2\x80\x98can do\xe2\x80\x99 approach to your work.

DUTIES

Your duties as a Bar Staff Team Member / Bartender will include:

  • Create 100%-member satisfaction through providing a \xe2\x80\x98yes I can\xe2\x80\x99 attitude and exceeding members expectations
  • Follow the 8 steps of service training to ensure 100%-member satisfaction in Food & Beverage service
  • Ensure adherence to set standards for all Food & Beverage service
  • Follow and complete cleaning schedule as requested to ensure all storerooms, corridors and the bar area are kept to the highest of standards
  • Learn and understand the food and drinks being served to be able to talk to Members about the products and to \xe2\x80\x98Upsell\xe2\x80\x99 as and when possible
  • Set-up and refresh when necessary, the Members bar, piano bar, function room or any other areas as required
  • Adhere to opening and closing procedures when on the rota for those shifts
  • Handle cash and take payments for goods in accordance with club procedures
  • Ensure Members follow the Members bar rules & regulations or ensure a senior member of the team is aware of any breaches
  • Stocking up, stock rotation, beer line cleaning, pre / post service preparation
  • Ensure you adhere to all legislative and company fire, health & safety and security guidelines
  • Attend daily pre-shift meetings to discuss the day\xe2\x80\x99s upcoming events in detail, special requests, and product development
  • Ensure the correct uniform and name badge are worn at all times
  • Actively participate in departmental meetings
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

While full training will be given the ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and competencies:
  • Trustworthy & reliable
  • Experience in an events environment is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to use your own initiative
  • Good customer care skills including respecting internal external customers
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong team player & good communicator
  • Good time management skills
  • Professionally well groomed
