Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to a positive guest experience.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards at all times. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations as needed. Handle cash transactions accurately, demonstrating basic maths skills for processing payments. Assist in restocking supplies and managing inventory levels effectively. Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Manage time efficiently to ensure prompt service while maintaining quality standards.

Experience

Previous experience in a bar or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. A strong understanding of hospitality principles and customer service excellence is crucial. Familiarity with bartending techniques and drink preparation is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a friendly disposition are essential for engaging with guests effectively. A commitment to food safety practices is required to uphold our high standards.
