Duties

Serve beverages and food items to customers with a friendly and professional demeanor. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene at all times. Take orders accurately, process payments, and handle cash transactions efficiently using basic math skills. Engage with customers, providing recommendations and addressing any queries or concerns they may have. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and smooth operations during busy periods. Manage time effectively, prioritising tasks to meet customer demands without compromising service quality.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is highly desirable. A solid understanding of hospitality principles and practices is essential. Familiarity with food safety standards is an advantage. Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage positively with customers and team members alike. Basic math skills are necessary for processing orders and payments accurately.
