Job Summary:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable entry-level Bartender to join our team. As a bartender, you will be the face of our bar and play a key role in providing a positive and enjoyable experience for our guests. No prior bartending experience is required--just a great attitude, willingness to learn, and a passion for customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service & Guest Interaction

Greet customers with a friendly and professional demeanor Engage with guests to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere Take customer orders accurately and answer questions about the menu, specials, or drink ingredients Make recommendations based on customer preferences or bar promotions

Drink Preparation & Service

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes Ensure consistent drink quality and presentation Operate bar equipment efficiently and safely

Legal & Safety Compliance

Verify age by checking identification to ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements Monitor guest alcohol consumption and responsibly handle situations involving intoxicated customers Follow all licensing laws & regulations related to the sale and service of alcohol

Bar Maintenance & Cleanliness

Keep bar area clean and organised throughout service Wash and clean bar tools and surfaces regularly Maintain cleanliness standards in accordance with health and safety regulations Assist in keeping common areas (e.g., seating, restrooms) clean as needed

Inventory & Restocking

Restock bar supplies as needed throughout the shift in accordance with supervisor Monitor stock levels and report low inventory to supervisor

Cash Handling & POS Operation

Accurately enter orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system Handle payments, issue receipts, and refunds

Teamwork & Support

Communicate effectively with other bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service Assist team members during busy periods or special events Support opening, mid-shift, and closing procedures as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

Minimum legal age to serve alcohol (in accordance with local/state laws) No prior experience required - training will be provided Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Friendly, positive attitude and a team-player mindset Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays Basic math and cash handling skills Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift items as needed
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour
