We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to an enjoyable dining experience.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers. Maintain a clean and organised bar area, adhering to food safety standards. Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Ensure timely service while managing multiple orders efficiently. Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly. Assist in restocking supplies and maintaining inventory levels. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Follow all health and safety regulations to create a safe environment for both staff and patrons.

Skills

Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively. Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills. Knowledge of bartending techniques and drink recipes is advantageous. Understanding of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.21 per hour
