Overview

We are seeking experienced enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team at our exciting business, Y Maes Food and Drink Hub. The ideal candidates will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. As a member of our bar team, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for our guests while ensuring the smooth operation of the bar.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including craft beer, cider, wines, cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Engage with customers, providing friendly and knowledgeable service while taking drink orders and offering recommendations. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Understanding of ordering system (trainging provided) Handle card transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments. Collaborate other team members to ensure seamless service delivery. Assist in restocking supplies and maintaining inventory levels as required.

Experience

Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant is essential. A solid understanding of food safety practices is highly desirable. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour towards guests and colleagues alike. A willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges within the bar setting.
