Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers, ensuring accuracy and quality. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware and equipment. Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines at all times. Engage with customers, providing friendly and knowledgeable service while taking orders. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills for processing payments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable. Manage time effectively during busy periods to maintain efficient service. Assist in restocking supplies as needed, ensuring the bar is well-equipped for service.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Strong hospitality skills with a genuine desire to enhance the customer experience. Basic knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
