We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. This role involves providing exceptional service to patrons in a lively and welcoming environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. Previous hospitality experience is advantageous, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards Take orders from customers accurately and efficiently Ensure all drinks are served promptly while maintaining high-quality presentation Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces Check identification to verify legal drinking age Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts Provide friendly and attentive service to enhance customer satisfaction Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or serving roles is desirable but not essential; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are important qualities Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and most weekends as required A responsible approach to alcohol service and customer care
